Used this gauge a lot when doing high-end doors and windows and finish carpentry. Repeatable measurements, high accuracy of the markings (exactly on to my Starret rules) and fit so well in the pouch. Quickly comes to be indispensable. Found the 4" one to be more useful than the 8" only because it fit my pouch better. But I still like the 8" in my shop. Wish it were more widely available.

I'm a building contractor and I have found that the Brumley trim gauge is quick and easy. Nothing to set up or adjust. It can be used for many functions but I use it exclusively for trim out and wouldn't be without it. I wish I could find it locally so I could get one for the whole crew. A very convenient tool.
