This kit is by far the best. I use an irwin blade in the skill saw in can do up to 70 cuts in a 4x2 treated on a 2.6 amp battery. As for the drill I only pick up a corded unless I do alot of concrete drilling. Other than that I use it for everything. I have this kit 3 years now it has never let me down once. One thing about the skil saw ripping timber with a corded saw is alot faster but this saw will get you out of trouble if your stuck. Don't forget this kit is cordless it deserves five stars
