I've had this in my attic for about 2 months and the odor has permeated into my living space. It gives me headaches, makes my eyes water, gives me a funny taste in my mouth. I will be having it removed. Before using this, I would recommend that you go to the local home improvement store that sells it and sit in their insulation isle for a while. If you don't like the odor, or you get a headache, or your eyes start watering, don't buy it.

I was disappointed with the poor quality of the batts. Right out of the bundle the paper was ripped up, folds everywhere. The flange your supposed to staple to was non-existant on some batts. Also had large areas of a black substance all over the paper. I contacted Owens Corning and asked about the black, they stated the ink jet machine that prints the lot code on the paper wasn't working correctly. So it just squirted patches of ink all over the paper. I purchased 10 bundles and so far I think I've found (2) batts that looked good. Also had a batt that had a large area of extra pink all over it and was stuck together. What a mess; I still need to buy some more I won't be buying Eco touch for the rest of the project.
