I have only used this joiner a few times but I found it easy to use making great cuts. I found that every cut was clean and precise with perfect surface alignment. It doesn't have a grip on this tool but it felt good in my hand but I found the power switch to be awkward. Turning it to the on position was easy but turning it off was difficult as this switch sticks a little. I didn't feel that it was a safety issue for me but others could.
