Editor's Review: A Better Breed of Jigsaws

The Metabo STEB135 operates smoothly. It has narrow side clearance and a long cord, and the line of sight to its blade was the best of the jigsaws we tested. However, its cuts to laminate were disappointing because it tended to chip the laminate surface. Couple that with a cantankerous blade-changing arrangement, and it's clear that there are better saws for the money.
