Editor's Review: Drilling Concrete? Get a Rotary Hammer

review date: May 1, 2004

This rotary hammer performed well in the timed drilling test. Its side handle is easy to attach and remove, and it features an easy-to-use depth stop that adjusts with a lever. A "slip clutch" disengages the rotary action if the bit binds during drilling. This is a great feature that should be standard on all large drills. This tool is solid, and we found nothing about it to dislike.
