Editor's Review: A Better Tool Organizer

review date: January 1, 2003

The romantic allure of hand-planing a window stool while the snow falls on the other side of the glass will carry you only so far; after a while, your work is about getting the job done as efficiently as possible. Organization never came easily for me, and when I was looking for just the right tool for the job, I wasn't working.

Designed by a carpenter with 25 years' experience, the VETO PRO PAC is the best tool organizer that I've seen. It has a list of features as long as your arm, such as a comfortable PVC grip and a thick polypropylene bottom. The body of the bag is made of heavy golf-bag material, and it's held together with steel rivets and heavy nylon stitching. It has pockets, pouches and zippered compartments of varying sizes. The front cover snaps open in three different positions.

I could continue listing its features, but the real question is: Will it hold all my small, seemingly unorganizable stuff so that I can find the right widget quickly, without the bag spilling over? The answer is yes.
