Tool Review: Milwaukee's New 12-in. Miter Saw

Finish carpenter Kit Camp revisits the "best overall" in the 12-in miter-saw category

Length: 3:16
Produced By: Cari Delahanty

Fine Homebuilding editor Justin Fink walks you through the most distinctive features of the new 12-in. sliding compound-miter saw from Milwaukee. Finish carpenter Kit Camp calls the saw "clean and velvety" and also says it is "well-balanced and comfortable to carry." Its features include a wide dust-collection bag, incandescent lights as opposed to a laser, and an extremely accurate digital miter-adjustment system. Milwaukee's miter saw wasn't available when Kit reviewed a half-dozen other saws for the magazine, but if it had been, Kit would have ranked it best overall.

Compare the features of this saw to the others in its class by clicking on Kit's Video Roundup. And, for more detail about the new Milwaukee 12-in. miter saw, read New 12-in. Miter Saw Leads the Field for Kit's complete review.
