A production framer explains how to streamline the process.
In this gem from the Fine Homebuilding Video Vault, Larry Haun and his brother Joe frame the floor of a basic 1600-sq.-ft. house. They take you step by step through the entire process, showing you practical ways to organize tasks, streamline procedures, and handle tools and materials efficiently. Is there anyone that doesn't do it this way?
good oldtimer
now it is all prefab I-joist and powernailers, moistureprotection, in-between insulation and foamsealing, pressuretreated sills with stainless steel anchors
funny thing: some of the "old" houses are now 100 years old and are still standing up well without the leaky condo syndrom
