At times I have to use my power plane in finished rooms, and without a dust bag the chips generated by the tool make a real mess. My plane came without a dust bag, so I made my own by cutting the legs off a pair of panty hose. I tucked one inside the other, and slipped the open end over the chip discharge port. Held in place by a sturdy rubber band, the bag works well.
