Tool Trolley Circular-Saw Edge Guide Review
The Tool Trolley is a circular-saw edge guide with smooth and true roller carriage tracking
For breaking down sheet goods, the Tool Trolley is probably more convenient than a job-site tablesaw, at about the same cost as an optional/aftermarket outfeed extension alone. Its fences are rigid and straight, and the roller carriage tracking is smooth and true. Tool attachment is simple and precise, the baseplate’s multiple holes will accommodate virtually any circular saw, and the mounting process is slick and easy. Having to pony up for a couple of small bar clamps isn’t too bothersome because clamps are a good investment anyway. But it’s a shame that there’s no provision for splinter reduction.
You have to supply the clamps for the Tool Trolley, but the offset carriage means that they won’t get in the way. Thanks to registration pins on the connector plate, fence sections are coupled quickly by tightening a pair of setscrews.
