Sometimes a house has “Good Bones” and an architect can execute a renovation that takes these bones and lets them breathe. That house is a pleasure to be in and a joy to photograph. This 1960s “Ranch” house was elegantly opened up and modernized. Walls were removed and dual pillars with lighting embedded inside were used to support the soaring roofline. Lighting above the kitchen cabinets was also used to bring out the strong angular features of the space.
All of this results in a space that is both inviting and dynamic.
