Is the cheese behind door number one or door number two? The potential for this guessing game multiplies with the introduction of KitchenAid‘s five-door refrigerator.
The new model offers traditional French doors on top, with two horizontal side-by-side soft-close drawers beneath. (One drawer offers a choice of preset temperatures customized for meat/fish, drinks, greens/herbs, deli items, and thawing/marinating; the other drawer is optimized for produce.) The bottom freezer is the fifth compartment.
The 36-in.-wide, 25.8-cu.-ft. refrigerator retails for $3699 in stainless steel and $3999 in KitchenAid’s new Black Stainless finish (above), which also features a platinum-tone interior.
