Cart for 12-ft. Siding
Move fiber-cement siding with ease using a DIY cart made from a baby jogger and aluminum ladder.
Check out these carts for moving 12-ft. planks of fiber-cement siding from the pallet to the wall. It’s made from a baby jogger I got at the local dump for $10 and a 12-ft. section of a lightweight aluminum ladder I had on hand. The ladder is attached to the cart with doubled nylon ties applied in five places. Screwed to one end are two lengths of 2×2 and a piece of 1/4-in. plywood. The cart rides on the rear wheels only. Though lightweight, it handles four to six planks with ease.

I've been pondering how to get many, many board-feet of siding and flooring from my dock up the sloping landscape to the lake cottage and this has given me many possibilities. I'll take the liberty of modifying to hook it up to either the lawn tractor or my soon to be acquired Gator or similar vehicle. Many thanks!!
Hmm, maybe use a old "pull-able" golf bag cart?
