Magnetic Wall Mount
A metal connector plate forms a handy mount for a line laser when there's no metal corner bead.

Sometimes it’s hard to find a place to mount my line laser on a wall. My laser has a magnetic mount, so a metal drywall corner often does the trick, but there’s not always a corner in an area that will work, or sometimes the corner beads are vinyl. I like to keep a steel metal connector plate on hand with the laser for situations like these. I just tape the plate to the wall with painter’s tape at the desired height, and stick the laser to the plate.
