#KeepCraftAlive Supporters Gather at IBS 2018 Fundraiser
100% of ticket receipts are used to fund scholarships, matched by FineHomebuilding.
A big crowd gathered at The Pub Orlando on Jan. 10, 2018, to support the #KeepCraftAlive movement and to raise funds for building trades scholarships. The event, put on by Fine Homebuilding and supported by co-host Diamondback Toolbelts and by premier sponsor Huber Engineered Woods, drew over 100 attendees.
100% of the event ticket sale proceeds are being donated to the #KeepCraftAlive Scholarship Fund to support the next generation of building trades artisans, and FHB is also matching donations dollar-for-dollar up to its goal of raising $10,000.
FHB editor Justin Fink was enthusiastic in his appreciation for the tremendous support for the fundraiser. “We can’t thank you enough for supporting this cause!” he said. “The turnout last night for our #keepcraftalive event in partnership with Diamondback Toolbelts and Huber Wood was overwhelming. We’re going to keep the registration site open for a couple of weeks to allow for additional donations. Your continued support means everything to us and to those who will receive scholarship funding this year.”
You can “register” for the event, just as a way to donate to the cause, by clicking here and then clicking VIEW DETAILS. Or, you can show your continuing support for this effort: buy a #KeepCraftAlive tee-shirt from the FHB online store.
