Laura Du Charme Conboy
Although Laura Du Charme Conboy designed the house in “La Jolla Jewel” (issue #181) as her own residence, she and her clan ended up moving into a smaller home after deciding that 3700 sq. ft. was too big for a family of four. Laura grew up in Las Vegas and attended Arizona State University, where she earned a degree in architecture. In 1992, Laura established her practice, Du Charme Architecture, in La Jolla, Calif.
