After Nancy Hiller trained as a traditional furniture maker in England, she worked in custom-cabinet shops and at the aircraft division of the Imperial War Museum. Since 1995, she has operated NR Hiller Design Inc., specializing in custom cabinetry and built-in furniture. She says, “Self-employment has been my greatest and most terrifying adventure.”
