15ga Stapler for 1/4″ plywood underlay?
I am using 1/4 inch plywood as underlayment for a wood floor. Will a 15 gauge stapler not work for this thickness — concerned it might dimple the plywood.

It might be too much. Try it is all I can say. A little 18 guage narrow crown gun is rather cheap and awful nice to own.
I would think you'd want the staple to at least go flush with the top suface. You could spot fill the holes if you think it'll telegraph through the finished surface.
