I’m installing a water treatment system that will go outside, but I don’t want it right up against the house. I have 3/4″ PEX feeding into the house. If I tie into this 3/4″ line before it goes into the house and run it about 25 feet away to the treatment system (50 feet total there and back), should I be concerned about significant loss of water pressure?

If you like, you can cut the line, put the 50 foot coil in the path and see how you like it for a week or so.
You can move up to 1 inch if you like if you think the pressure drop is too high.
Depending on what treatment method you choose, it also could have some pressure drop with flow.
I want to say you will not notice it, or if you do, it will be minimal and you quickly will get used to it.
Great, thank you. The system itself claims to have zero pressure drop, so I like the idea of putting in the extra PEX and testing it out.
Please let us know how it works out.
