700lb 8×12 gate

Hi, The one leaf swing gate is 700lb ,8’H, 12′ long. Post is 6″x 1/4″. What should the diameter and dept of the hole in the ground be?

    This question is better answered by a local engineer, and should consider the local soil properties.
