I recently installed a Moen faucet in a customers kitchen. It is the type that has a pull out faucet/sprayer (from the spout) with a button which changes the water flow from stream to spray.
The complaint: not enough water pressure from the kitchen faucet.
The supply valves are open entirely. Remainder of home has good water pressure. Customer spoke w/ friend who has same type of faucet and the friend complained about not enough water pressure.
I am posting this message to see if others have had the same problem with this type of Moen faucet. Is it designed to provide a “softer” spray/stream of is there something I am missing here?
Thanks,

The back flow preventer really chokes down the flow on the pull-out faucets, but check for a screen in line too!
Yesterday I couldn't even spell plumber, today I are one.
Can you provide any details on how to check for an in-line screen?
Thanks,

.The undisciplined life is not worth examining.
Usually it is easy to get at where the hose connects to the head. There could be debris in the back-flow preventer also. As mentioned before, these faucets tend to have low flow rates.

If memory serves me right there is a screen / filter where the flex tube connects to the base of the pull out spout. check the install sheet it shold show the exact location.
DITTO W/ WHAT "VTMIKE" SAID !
I have had complaints on these faucets. The apparent reason was the backflow preventer.
This isn't much help, but . . . I never met a Moen I liked.
I too dislike Moen. Many people think my position is nuts. Maybe it is. So? LOL

Let them install them, then.
I won't anymore. Went through three on a lav sink (6 weeks, 2 weeks, 1 week; Delta, over 1 year and no problem). Moen was not very helpful, either (probably shouldn't have sent the thrid one back in a Delta box . . . ) They kept giving me another Moen.
Unreasonable? Maybe. But three times under the same sink jammed up agains the tub was two too many (especially late at night, for free--yeah, probably shouldn't have included an invoice for my lost labor hours in the Delta box, too).Occupational hazard of my occupation not being around (sorry Bubba)
Remove the sprayerhead and youll see plenty of water flow. The water shortage in SoCal cause a surge in water saving devices. Its GPM "gallons per minute" reduction
I installed one like that in my sisters summer home. It has an aerator that does not look like it is one (it is recessed into the spout). I unscrewed it and pulled out quite a bit of crud. Another down side is the backflow device makes it hard to winterize.
remove all water saver devices.I hate them...like the worlds gonna run outta water.yeh right
Be well soaked
