Acrylic Tub Install – what kind of screws

I am going to be installing an acrylic bathtub – Alcove type which is surrounded by 3 walls of wood (2×4’s).  I will need to be screwing through the tub flange, into the wood to secure the tub.  Can anyone tell me what type of screws to use?  Some website suggested using “galvanized deck screws.”  Can anyone tell me what is the best to use?  Thank you so much.

    Stainless steel first. I'd use 1 1/4 X 8's

    Stainless. Predrill if the holes aren't already there.
