somebody recently suggested to me that i add paint to my drywall compound before i apply it to the ceiling for a “stippled” texture. im told it eliminates painting the ceiling. this makes sense to me , but im concerned about the bond between the compound and the drywall. Anyone use this method ? Besides feedback , i need to know the formula of the paint to compound ratio. thanks
