For those that have never heard of the stuff, it is one insulator extraordinar. It has been so expensive that us common folks couldn’t afford it. Rumblins have indicated that there is some ‘new’ process for producing the material that makes it afforable for the building industry. May be my nature, but can’t help but feel that the biggies in the insulation area doesn’t want this product on the market. Look it up ‘aerogel’ and help me by asking questions of your suppliers. Enough question and someone will get off their duff and start producing the stuff at realistic prices.
Some of the claims made and actual uses will make you think its Trekie material.
