~CLIFFORD RENOVATIONS~Cold Spring Harbor,NY,Long Island~
I’ve installed thousands of square feet of oak flooring but steer away from the finishing mainly because I do mostly renovations and don’t get involved in the finishing aspects of hardwood floors.. also don’t want to invest in the expensive equipment. On occasion I have rented floor sanders and done it myself. I have my own spec house I am finishing up and have about 3000sq ft of oak I installed that I WILL….ugh..sand and finish. Question is: I use the orbital edger first then I use the drum..Three different grades of paper…When I’m done I still usually see the swirls. I have tried using the finer paper in my palm sander along the edges but nothing seems to get out the swirls. Whats the secret?????
Thanks
Andy
