It’s recently become much easier to get a General Contractors liscence in my town. Basically, you write a check you get the liscence. You don’t even need to know what a general contractor IS and you can legally become one. City Hall claims the liscence is primarily for tracking purposes…to track what? Is this happening anywhere else, or is this pretty rare??
