I know it isn’t exactly a tool for homebuilding but I am thinking about getting a sweepster rotary broom to hook up to my little kubotas three point hitch.
I would mostly use it for routine clean up on a 1/4 mile driveway that is lined with eucalyptus trees. The trees drop bark, leaves, seeds and small branches year round.
Has anyone ever used one? Any thoughts on how well they work for sweeping tree debris off a roadway?
Thanks in advance,
Karl

I have used one on the Bobcat, (skid loader) . Works well, but 30 mins on the loader is like smoking 3 packs of cigs. Buy some good dust masks or a cab for the tractor!
Not too bad for moving a couple of inches of snow, either.
Don and G8..
thanks for the input. It sounds like they would do the job. At least with a three point hitch behind the tractor the dust would be behind me.

wind direction?
I've used one a few times. The dust is definitely a problem. You either have to pay attention to the wind direction, or you'd better have a cab.
Keep in mind the bristles on the brush won't last forever. You can spend some bucks replacing it.
