I am installing a Kolher apron sink ( Gilford 12700). The instructions are very poor and leaves you wondering. My problem is how do you anchor the sink to the cabinets, and can the sink be installed before the counter tops.
Thanks
Dave

The recipe for linoleum hasn't changed much in nearly 170 years, yet it's still one of the greenest floors money can buy.

I've only installed one apron sink, and it was several years ago.
However, if memory serves me well, it went in similar to an undermount sink. I screwed ledgers to the sides of the cabinets and into the framing of the back wall to support the load of the sink. Then I used some adhesive to hold it in place. Additionally, I put in some hard rubber shims (between the edge of the sink "rim" and the sub-counter) to keep the sink from drifting left or right, forward or back.
I think you can install the sink before the counters go in without problem. Just install the sink at the proper elevation so your counter can run right over the top of it. I'd allow about a 1/16" gap between the underside of the counter and the top of the sink for caulk.
Incidentally, using screws on the ledgers helped me dial in the sink elevation fairly easily: after a dry fit, I was able to back the screws out and then raise or lower the ledgers as required.
