In addition to the molding catalogues, you could use a few magazines or books with pictures of interiors & exteriors. This will give you some ideas about how and where to use that trim.

Where can I find ideas for various trim details - exterior and interior? We have a couple of nice floor plans that are unfortunately pretty plain looking when built. We would like to add some detail to these houses to dress them up. I have done some internet searches but so far have not found what I'm looking for. Ideas anyone?

*Ray Go to a local cabinet shop or architectural millworks. They should have a profile catalogue. Good chance for You to get some feedback and meet and access the local talent. Best of Luck, Skip

*You might try an old pattern book. Dover Publications has some inexpensive reprints. They have a catalogue of over 180 architectual books. I don't believe they have a web site. Their address is Dover Publications, 31 East Second Street, Mineola, NY 11501
