Hi everyone,
we have been living in this house for 5 years and I have heard something about asbestos. When we moved this house we had our carpet changed. Do you think this underlay may have asbestos?
thanks.

There's a constant source of clean water for you to use, and all you have to do is collect it.

How old is the house? The manufacture of asbestos-based flooring products was banned in the 70s, and most existing stocks were depleted by the early 80s.
DanH Thanks for your reply. I am not sure but it is an old house like most of houses in London. I think it is a Victorian house. Owner might have renovated the house in the past but I am not sure. We have changed the carpet and padding but I don’t know about subfloor. While changing carpet they couldn’t attach carpet and bathroom vinyl ( because door can’t close) after I searched about asbestos I feel anxious that I have breathed asbestos from there for 5 years. Sorry for my poor English.
Thanks
