I’ve got a relatively small amount of asbestos siding to dispose of. It’s separated and double bagged in 5 mil plastic. Anyone know of a place in the greater Boston area where I can get rid of it? I’ve made a few calls, but none of my usual suspects want to deal with it.
If not the Boston area, then how ’bout the New England area?
As a side conversation, what are you guys paying for your dumpsters in your area? I’m paying $575 for a 30 yarder @ 5 tons, two week rental. What about you?

I just had the same question in michigan. I went to city hall and talked to the water/sanitation division. They gave me the haz/mat dumps number. It was easy. The dump doesnt even care if its wrapped in plastic ("we handle it all with machines"). Maybe you'll have the same luck in Boston.
I just filled a dumpster yesterday. 30yd, 2 weeks, about $325.
dumpsters here on Long Island are the same as by you...too much.
Probably the more densly populated areas charge more I'm guessing.

As I read this that and approved solid waste dump can take it as long as it is not crumblying.

Dump fees here for 5 tons is about $400, and that is with your OWN dumpster and you hauling it! Never had to rent one.
There is also 'shovel and shut-up' for really small amounts <G>.
