Just saw a new episode of Ask This Old House… it was a special where the guys are working with kids to build various projects.  Apparently Tommy forgot to tell the kids in a couple shots that for safety glasses to be effective, they have to be removed from resting on top of the head and dropped down in front of the eyes.  A girl and a boy are hammer nails, etc with the safety glasses up on the top of their heads. 

Apparently they should have had Norm on the sidelines reciting his famous lines…  “and remember this, there’s no more important safety rule…  than to wear ‘these’, safety glasses…”  🙂
