What’s the best way to vent the dust, etc, from the attic with a hip roof? The reason I ask is I really don’t want to make any cuts in the roof with all the rain we get here.
Thanks,
steve

Why do you want to vent dust out of your attic? Where is it coming from? I'm sorry if I don't understand. If you need a vent to prevent condensation, based on your discomfort with putting a hole in your roof, I recommend you hire a professional. You'll sleep better for it. Putting a hole in is easy, keeping the water has kept me awake nights and days.

*Terry,It's an old house that at one time had insulation blown in the attic. Over time it has also accumlated a lot of dust, cobwebs, etc. Every time I go up there I come down with my nose (and probably lungs) literally full of dust. I have to imagine that some of that is coming down daily, particularly this time of year with the furnace running. In otherwords, I want to air-filtrate the attic once in a while just like I do inside the house. Get some big fans up there and blast that stuff out of there.steve
