I will be laying this product for the first time soon and have a few questions for anyone that may have experience.
Since the bamboo is only 5/8 inch thick, can I use my standard manual floor nailer?
How much expansion should I allow for around the peremiter of the room?
What’s your general impression of this product? Anything else I need to know?
Thanks as always.

Can't tell you about the nailer, be/c I glued mine. Also, my interior temp and humidity stays in a really narrow range, so I've had no noticeable expansion/contraction. While I don't install tight, tight, something as small as 1/8 or even less woulda worked for me. With bigger variations in humidity, might need bigger.
General impression? Love how it mills, and how it holds up, and finishes. Takes some real effort to dent or mar.
Open all pkgs b/4 you start as we had an order from WFI that showed quite a bit of color variation. Subsequent orders from other suppliers have not shown such a difference. You can use your nailer but get an adptr plate for 5/8's or shim the shoe for the thinner product. If using pneumatic, lower your air pressure to maybe 60 lbs and adj up till you're satisfied with the staple depth (test b/4 you start laying). Protect the floor from heavy appliances, it's hard but can be damaged by refrig or other narrow hard wheels.
