I need some ideas for a finished basement flooring. The customer says he gets a little water in the basement about once a year. My flooring guy said he would glue vinyl to the concrete, but I think that would be a cold floor and I have never been a big fan of vinyl. I was thinking of putting in those new dricore subfloor tiles and carpeting over that. Has anyone used the dricore subfloor? Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

What I know is that I'd never risk finishing any basement that ever gets water in it, even if the customer is aware of the problem. As the contractor, who should know better, you might be on the legal hook four owners down the line.

Ditto. Fix the water problem first, then move on to flooring options. Once the area is guaranteed dry, I think the dri-core system is a great product. We have only used it once, in relatively new construction, with the concrete planing out almost perfectly. We did have to pour some self leveling in a few areas; I did not like the shims that are sold for the system, so we used as few as possible.
The panels go down quickly and are relatively inexpensive.
Make sure the water problem is taken care of first, 'cause that is one call back you don't want to deal with.
