A basement that I’m remodeling had some water damage and the paneling and the furring strips needed to be removed. Most of the wall are cinder block. What is the most efficient way to hang the new furring strips. ie cement nails, tapcons, ramset etc…….????????????

Why are you not framing out the walls? Is there no need for space for insulation or electrical?
Good point. I'm Framing out the exterior walls , however the interior cinderblock walls have to many things like railing, already narrow door Jambs and most of the electrical is already recessed. In the areas that we are adding new outlets the electrician is going to knockout and recement new boxes. on the exterior walls I have to frame with 2x4's because ther is wall anchors and we are going to in fact insulate and the electrical is currently out of the wall so it needs put in conduit.
Thanks for responding

sheets of foam insulation against the block ... tape the seams for a good vapor barier ... steel stud framing set on a pt wood sill.
cut the foam tight so it's a friction fit ... the steel studs are set as tight as possible to hold them there forever ... seal any penetrations ...
run mechanicals ...
drywall and paint.
PT wood bottom plates can be glued and wither tapconned to hold till the glue sets ... or shot down with a remington gun.
