I am installing a locking vinyl plank floor in my basement.  I was advised to use Spycore sub floor without plywood or OSB.  (This is the dimpled plastic product)  I am a little hesitant due to the warnings and instruction from vinly plank installers cautioning about installing on a smooth surface.  Does anyone know if installing Vinyl plank directly over Spycor is a good idea?  Thank you for your help!
