Any suggestions for protecting windows and surrounding areas from the inside where they are part of a shower? I had been planning on using Milgard Ultra (all fiberglass frame). The walls will be concrete block. We won’t use any wood around the windows anyway, because of the local climate and termites.
Still, the interior designers are recommending against having the windows in the shower for fear of water damage. I think they have a legitamate concern. However based on the materials we will use, I am not sure what the water will damage. The showers will be much nicer with the windows, but I don’t want them needing to be replaced next year. Thanks.
