Hi People,
I need some help.
Got contacted by a disabled lady who functions with a tiny Condo Bathroom.
She gets around with the aid of a walker that also acts as a seat.
She wants me to remodel the bath by incorporating the laundry closet and making it more functional for her. Her main requirement is that I install a seamless floor and not tile. I will be doing the Shower walls with synthetic panels.
I am planning on raising the floor off the slab and making a subfloor with 3/4 ply and using the Schulter Base for the shower and then sloping HD Foam towards the shower.
However I am at a loss of how to make a 5ft x 10ft Floor seamless and water tight and non slippery.
All your ideas would be helpfull as I would like to accomodate this lady.
Thanks

Vinyl, comes 12' wide!
You might look into commercial floor coating products -- basically epoxy coatings. Similar stuff is used for garage floors (check with a local "Garage-mahal" outfitter). Grit can be added for non-slip.
Commercial sheet vinyl can be welded, and wrapped up the walls for an integral base. This is often used in surgical suites. Something like Armstrong Medintech.
OR
High build epoxy flooring.

I have a post over at GBA that might be helpful on this subject.

For the shower floor look at this product
http://www.barrierfree.org/barrier_free_handicap_showers.htm
For the sink just set two drawer stacks on either side and mount the sink on a shelf between them with a skirt to the bottom of the sink and recess the trap into the wall behind rather than set it under the sink to make a knee hole per the attached file.
For the floor we often will use Marmoleum even though it's not warranted for this application. Hey it works so long as you seal up the edges really good w/ silicone esp at the shower transition. But Vinyl will work really well here too.
Don't for get the grab rail blocking.
