To start out with I have used the search engine for this list and have not found any real help with specific brands. So I ask this question. I am building a walk in steam shower (4′ x 5′) with ceramic tile walls, floor and ceiling and glass block on one of the four walls, so I have alot of caulking to do. I’d like to hear about specific brands that have worked and also the ones to stay away from. The manufactures reccomend 100% Silicone. I would like colors other than white and clear if given a choice. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Search in the archives for "Polyseamseal"
*Philip, I have had the most luck with Np-1 it is a urethane based caulk, made by Sonneborn co. it is available in several colors, adheres anything to anything (well, almost) outlasts any other caulk I have ever encountered, and I have as yet never had any trouble with mildew. the only thing is, it is very difficult to work with, very messy if you don't know how to handle it. good luck!
