Any tips on what old style lumber yard in upstate south carolina might stock hard to find and wider wood that box stores do not?

Head on up to Gennett Lumber in Asheville, NC. Like a candy store foe wood heads...exotics, baltic birch ply, nice big indoor warehouse, custom planing and ripping....all you ever want. No tools or fastners to speak of, but some specialty cabinet hardware I think.
