Best prefinished wood flooring product?
Who is the leading manufacturer to go with, when it comes to prefinished wood flooring?
I mean the kind that is solid wood 3/4″ thick, T&G and endmatched, sold in 2-1/4″ and wider random lengths, and goes down with regular flooring cleats just like the stuff you put down, then sand and finish.
That manufacturer would have to have a nice offering of species, grades, and finishes, and product that could always be relied upon for quality.

Bump!!
I've done many nice looking floors with Mirage, the most readily available brand around here, (Central Vt.) Lots of short pieces, but that seems to be the case with any of the pre finished I've used. Other than that , the quality control seems great.
I am a little closer than you, but my friend saved $1200 on a 650 sf buy of Mirage by driving up to Quebec and buying it there.
I have used, and like, Bruce. Fits your description. Not knocking Mirage - just have never used it.
If you google Bruce's website, you'll find out the product line is much more extensive than what you see at the local big box; longer lengths, different widths, species, finishes, etc. - then - "find a dealer near you". Don't know if the big box will special order for you.
Just remember to open the boxes and condition the wood for a week or so in the house before laying it - regardless of who's product you choose.
