We live in a tiny two story apartment of 110 sq meters that I would very much like to renovate. We will be employing a professional architect (or interior designer) however, I would be very grateful if anyone could recommend a good book on designing for small spaces in order to get some input.

This is a subject I like to explore as well and I have had many good books from our local library but two that I remember are:
"Making the Most of Small Spaces" by Anoop Parikh
"Compact Living" by Jan Graining
Thanks for your reply, I haven't come across so many books on this subject over here, so I'm entirely dependent on recommendations.......... and of course 'Alibrias'

Have you tried IKEA? They have a store in Netanya. If that's too far, they'll send a catalog.
They specialize in small spaces, multi-purpose pieces. They always have some innovative displays utilizing the ENTIRE space.
