Sears had a add the past weekend for Bosch 18v hammer drill for 169$ So here I go again buying sets to get batteries? 2 batteries at best price I could find 80$ each= 160$. Sears with drill 169$
SO I’m hunting around and I find at amazon the new miter saw stand is now available.
Bosch T4B Gravity-Rise Miter Saw Stand
And I’m looking to ? maybe step up to the 36v stuff and find this site with the combos available. http://www.ohiopowertool.com/cordless.cfm?gclid=CMzZ9Mz-8o4CFRa_WAodVSORoA
Now the only thing missing is the 36v jig saw but I think thats on it’s way.
Any body got any hot $#s on the 18v batteries?
And I went looking some more and see http://www.tylertool.com/bosch156.html has got the combos, so I guess they are starting to get out here/there.

I bought the Makita 18V Lithium Ion. A whole lot of improvement.
Was it the set? And if so how is the circular saw?
I was hunting on the Bosch and the slim pack batteries are 100$ish and the fat packs are 150$ Wowsa I'm in the wrong business.
I figured if I got the Bosch set with the 2 fat packs for around 700$ and back it up with 2 spare slim packs EAAAAAAAK$$$$$$$$ you get the idea.
Bosch Blue-core 18v batteries are available all day long new in package on Ebay for $50-60 each. Lot of folks buy combos and split them up.Also,
Their cordless have a 3 year warranty, and I was able (as part of the warranty) to buy new 18 volt blue cores from the service center for $42 each near the end of my 3 year warranty. They would have sold me as many as I wanted for that price.I've got a lot of Bosch 18 tools - probably all of them, and they've all served me well, buy if I was committing to a new system - it's be the Makita LI.I have the Bosch 24volt 10" miter saw and it is very handy - the only thing I wouldn't use it for is decks or crown - it handle just about everything I give it. And, it'll run on my 18 volt batteries as well. Weighs like 24lbs maybe.JT
Can the mitersaw also be run as a corded plugin?
No, although that would be handy. I've often thought it's be worth it to pick up the Dewalt 24v-110 converter and canabalize an old Bosch battery and make it happen...JT
Always thought then manus were missing a big one by not providing a quality small mitersaw that would run off both batt or cord.
Got a up date from amazon, but with out checking this note it shows on the web page as a higher price. So you have to hunt even on the same site.
Do you have the Makita circular saw (lithium) and if so hows it run? I sure like using the cordless but wish for something with a real motor/ bearing instead of what sounds like an engine about to blow.
(Please note that the price of Bosch BAT181 BlueCore 18-Volt 2.4 Amp Hour NiCad Pod Style Battery has decreased from $79.95 to $69.03)
