Now they discontinued one of my favorite toys,WHY!!!!!! Anyway, does anyone know of any vendors that might have any left so I can get one for the road? I sent an e-mail to Bosch and got no response.

Mine came from the old service center in Philadelphia (now closed) you could try phoneing around get the # from the bosch tools web page.

Calvin, that would be the B4050 in-line jig saw.
Makita still makes a 9.6V cordless model. I sure wish I'd bought one before putting in all those electric boxes through baseboard, lath, and plaster. You can do it with a regular jigsaw, but the in-line is just so nice and IMHO does less damage to the finish. As of now, I don't have enough work left of that type to justify the purchase. :(
I never heard of that tool, do you know the model#? The bosch tool I have looks like a midget sawzall and uses regular jig saw blades.

Only $80, but it doesn't come with a battery or charger. As I said, for cutting electric boxes this style of tool can't be beat.
I see it uses a special blade, which might be problematic. I might take one of the Bosch bi-metal blades i use to fry's to see if it fits in their display model.
