I’m getting ready to put up 16+ sq. of white cedar shingles on the workshop, using Bostich “thick coat” siding nails. I’ve always hand nailed shingles in the past with hot dipped, but I’m trying to speed things up. These are rated for acq so I would think they should be fine, or so the lumber yard says. Any exposed nails will be s.s. Any thoughts on this are appreicated.

i've used the Bostich "thick coat galv" for WC & RC... and of course SS for all exposed nails
i would use them again.. and we work in a salt-air atmosphere so i'm very concerned about rusting and staining
Thanks for the response Mike, I've read many of your posts and you know your stuff.
