Looking at lots of options for replacing carpet for a client. Came across a web site that sells brick pavers in 1/2″ and 15/16″ thk for interior floors…they claim it goes down just like ceramic tile. Being that thin, there shouldn’t be a problem with doors or other floor coverings. Here’s the questiuons: anyone have experience with thin pavers? The vendor says to install them with standard joints (3/8″?) and use regular brick mortar. I thought I had seen pictures of old houses that had the bricks layed tight. Comments on this?
Do it right, or do it twice.
