Hey!
I have used just a standard stapler in the past for tyvek.
It seems tyvek is recommending a cap stapler.
I don’t want to spend $$$$$ for one.
I see two manual ones …. CH38 at $50 and CH38A at $70
Any idea which is better? Neither gets “great” reviews but the cheaper one seems to do better than the other on Amazon.
Is there any other one I should look at?
Do I even need this?
Thanks ….. Mike

I have the Stinger CH38-2 and love it.

Thanks so much !!!!!!!
You might have seen my other post about the workshop video. This building is taking me forever since I am doing it myself. I know you should cover the tyvek with siding as quick as possible but it may be a few months so I want to give it every chance I can to stay on.
I could do the tyvek later but it would be tough on a 18 ft high wall plus I am hoping it gives some protection to the OSB sheathing.
Thanks so much again !!!!!!!!!

DuPont/ Tyvek specs state you can leave Tyvek exposed to UV light for 120 days.
A perfect application for cap staples.
