MY QUESTOIN IS HOW DOES EVERYONE FEEL ABOUT CEMENT SIDING OVER WOOD SIDING SUCH AS T1-11.IF YOU COVER THE WOOD WITH TYVEK THEN SPACE THE CEMENT SIDING 1/2″IS THE A GOOD AIR BARRIER.WHAT ABOUT DOW STYROFOAM OVER WOOD THEN TYVEK OVER THE WOOD THEN CEMENT SIDING.I’M VERY CURIOUS TO SEE IF THEY WOULD BE ANY WATER VAPORS TRAPPED.

I dont have a problem with what you want to do except I would use tar paper over the T11 instead of Tyvek. Foam and concrete siding do not need an open spacing. Be sure to get the primed siding.
